The Mission
WHY = Our Mission - our Noble Cause - is to team with the Boy Scouts and hand-plant 130,000 Noble Firs in the Blast Zone of Mount St. Helens. Our hope is that this small act of service will spur the remedy to a much bigger plight that threatens our planet.
So really… Why Replant?
- Because it’s a local cause.
- It’s a living tribute and token of remembrance for a loved one, a life lost or one just beginning.
- It’s GREEN.
- It brings a home to countless species of wildlife and restores natural elk habitat.
- It reduces our carbon footprint.
- It creates job opportunities for residents in the St. Helens area.
- It’s the gift of a lifetime.
- It provides a way for youth to earn money for their activities and learn life lessons on caring for the earth.

“The vast possibilities of our great future will become realities only if we make ourselves responsible for that future.” - Gifford Pinchot, the first Chief of the United States Forest Service, is known for reforming the management and development of forests in the United States and for advocating the conservation of the nation’s reserves by planned use and renewal.
HOW = HOW = One tree at a time - A Noble Fir for a Noble Cause - Noble Cause / Boy Scouts will carefully plant an organically grown tree native to the area. You will help by “Naming a tree” - you choose whom or what you want to honor by naming a tree. Honor an Eagle Scout or memorialize a loved one with the gift of life. Every life has been influenced by someone or something.
